The College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences Council holds its sixth regular session.
The Council of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences held its sixth regular session today, Wednesday, March 5, 2025, chaired by the Dean of the College and attended by all members of the Council to discuss a number of academic and administrative issues that contribute to the development of the educational and research process and the standards of program accreditation recently launched by the Ministry. The session witnessed the hosting of our college's teaching assistant, Dr. Shaker Mahmoud Abdullah, a member of the Program Accreditation Council for Colleges of Physical Education and Sport Sciences in Iraq, who gave a detailed presentation on the mechanisms of program accreditation and quality assurance standards, to identify the importance of applying the latest strategies
During the session, the Council discussed a number of important topics, most notably working to support the research plan and publishing in international repositories, as well as organizing the second scientific forum to discuss the graduation research projects for fourth stage students for the academic year 2024/2025.
At the end of the session, the attendees emphasized the importance of continuing to adopt quality standards and academic accreditation, and providing the necessary support to faculty members and students, to ensure a distinguished educational environment that achieves the vision and objectives of the college in preparing qualified sports cadres capable of contributing effectively to the development of the sports and educational sector.
