Competitive entrance exam for graduate studies at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – University of Anbar
On Monday morning, June 30, 2025, the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Anbar University began administering competitive exams for applicants to graduate studies in the doctoral and master's programs for the 2025-2026 academic year, amid high organizational preparations provided by the faculty dean.
The college witnessed an official visit by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Wissam Hashim Khalil, who was received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Labib Zouyan Musayikh. During the visit, the assistant reviewed the progress of the exams and the administrative, organizational, and technical procedures adopted to ensure that the exams were conducted smoothly and with a high degree of transparency.
Dr. Wissam Hashim praised the great efforts made by the college dean, teaching staff, and exam supervisory committees, commending the level of organization and precision in their work, which reflects the college's keenness to achieve academic quality standards and provide a suitable scientific environment for applicants.
At the end of the tour, Dean Prof. Labib Zouayan expressed his thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of this important academic event, foremost among them the staff of the Central Computer Center, the Graduate Studies Department at the University Presidency, and the members of the central committees at the college.
The Dean confirmed that competition for the available seats reached more than 63 applicants for the master's and doctoral programs, reflecting the high demand for graduate studies at the college.
He added that the process was not limited to the written exam, but was followed by personal interviews with all applicants, which aimed to assess their academic and personal aspects and their ability to continue their graduate studies, in order to achieve academic standards.
In conclusion, the dean emphasized the college's keenness to support higher education and scientific research, wishing all applicants success and hoping that they will be a distinguished addition to the march of science and knowledge at our beloved university.
