The Anbar University men’s volleyball team continues its impressive run in the 2026 Iraqi University Championship, held at the Northern Technical University in Nineveh, after securing a well-deserved 2-0 victory over the University of Al-Ain team, in a match where the team demonstrated its superiority in terms of technical performance, tactical discipline, and high fighting spirit.

With this victory, the university team secured its spot in the final, taking another step closer to the podium—an achievement that reflects the continuous hard work and exceptional preparation behind the players, as well as the coaching and administrative staff.

On this occasion, the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Anbar University, Prof. Dr. Labib Zouyan Musaykh, extends his warmest congratulations and blessings to the team’s players and staff, praising the commendable level of performance they have demonstrated throughout the tournament, which reflects the university’s distinguished sporting standing.
