Admission tests begin at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – University of Anbar

 Entrance exams begin at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – University of Anbar

On Tuesday morning (September 23, 2025), entrance exams began for students applying to the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Anbar University for the new academic year, amid a distinctive organizational atmosphere and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Labib Zouyan Masikh.

The tests were conducted in two stages, the first for female students and the second for male students. The events included several stages, beginning with a medical examination to ensure the safety and health of the applicants, followed by running tests to measure physical abilities and endurance, followed by various physical and skill tests to measure motor and athletic performance, and concluded with personal interviews with students to assess their psychological and social aspects and their suitability for the requirements of university study in this major.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Labib Zouayan, Dean of the College, praised the great efforts made by the committees supervising the organization of the tests, emphasizing that the accuracy of the work and the integration of the stages reflected the college's keenness to select the most competent and physically and psychologically prepared students, in line with the college's mission and vision of preparing qualified athletic and scientific cadres who contribute to serving sports and society.

The Dean pointed out that the success of this process would not have been possible without the fruitful cooperation between the teaching staff and the organizing committees, as well as the administrative and technical support that provided the appropriate atmosphere for students to take their exams smoothly and seamlessly. He also stressed the importance of continuing this approach to ensure the integrity of the educational process and raise the level of the college's outputs.
