As part of the requirements for obtaining a doctoral degree, the comprehensive oral examination for doctoral students accepted for the 2024/2025 academic year was held at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Anbar on Monday, September 22, 2025. This followed a written examination on September 15, 2025.

A wide selection of professors specializing in physical education and sports sciences from various Iraqi colleges and universities participated in the examination, reflecting scientific and academic integration between educational institutions and contributing to enriching scholarly discussions during the evaluation process.

In this context, Professor Labib Zoyan Masikh, Dean of the College, emphasized that the comprehensive examination represents a fundamental and pivotal milestone in the academic journey of doctoral students. He noted that organizing it with such precision and sobriety is in line with the university's commitment to enhancing quality standards and advancing the level of scientific research. His Excellency also commended the great efforts made by the scientific and examination committees to ensure the success of this academic endeavor. The event concluded by emphasizing the importance of this step in preparing doctoral students to effectively contribute to the development of the fields of physical education and sports science in Iraq.
