The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Council Holds Its Fifth Open Meeting with Distinguished Attendees

The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Council held its fifth open meeting, chaired by Prof. Dr. Labib Zouian Musaykh and attended by council members, as part of the faculty’s efforts to develop the educational process and promote student athletic activities.

The Council first hosted Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Qadir, an educational supervisor specializing in physical education, who presented a comprehensive vision for developing educational programs and enhancing students’ physical and technical abilities.

Next, the Council hosted Mr. Mustafa Najm Al-Hayali, President of Al-Mustaqbal Sports Club, who discussed avenues for cooperation between the college and sports clubs to hone students’ skills and enhance their participation in sports activities.

The Council also hosted Mr. Mohammed Saadoun, a representative of the Directorate of Youth and Sports, who outlined plans to support sports activities in the governorate and increase youth participation in events and tournaments.

In an important step, the Council hosted Mr. Ahmed Abdul Dakhil, a parent representative, who emphasized the importance of parental involvement in monitoring the educational process and student activities to ensure the students’ balanced development.

The Council concluded its session by discussing the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance teaching and learning, including monitoring graduate programs, organizing class schedules, providing educational supplies, and preparing for the annual student conference, which showcases students’ talents and creativity and enhances the college’s scientific and athletic standing at both the academic and community levels.
