On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, representatives of Imam Jafar al-Sadiq University visited the university based on an official letter issued by the university presidency requesting academic twinning and joint scientific cooperation with Anbar University.
This visit came within the framework of Iraqi universities' efforts to strengthen scientific partnerships and exchange academic experiences. During the meeting, prospects for cooperation between the Faculty of Education/ the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Imam Jafar al-Sadiq University and the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Anbar University, which will contribute to the development of study programs and improve the scientific reality for students.
The two sides discussed the possibility of signing a scientific memorandum of understanding that includes the exchange of curricula and teaching experiences and the organization of joint scientific activities, as well as opening areas of cooperation in scientific research and academic supervision, thereby enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and consolidating the principle of integration between university institutions.
Dean Prof. Labib Zouyan Musaykh emphasized that the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Anbar welcomes all meaningful academic initiatives, noting that scientific twinning represents an important step towards expanding the network of scientific relations and building solid partnerships that contribute to raising the level of higher education and serving the scientific process in Iraq.
For their part, representatives of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq University expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome and spirit of cooperation, affirming their university's keenness to establish a sustainable scientific relationship based on the exchange of knowledge and expertise and the development of academic programs that serve students and enhance the status of both institutions.
This meeting is part of the college's policy of opening up to universities and academic institutions and consolidating its scientific presence as an effective educational environment that strives for excellence, leadership, and community service.
