Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Anbar University Strengthens the College’s Academic Presence by Exploring Scientific Cooperation with Its Counterpart at Al-Mustansiriya University

As part of his efforts to strengthen the presence of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Anbar University and expand the horizons of scientific cooperation with Iraqi universities, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Labib Zouyan Musaykh, visited the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Mustansiriya University, where he was received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Husam Al-Mumin.

During the meeting, a number of scientific and academic issues were discussed that would serve to develop joint work between the two colleges. The two sides discussed mechanisms for expanding cooperation in the areas of exchanging academic expertise and organizing joint scientific and sporting events, including holding conferences, seminars, and specialized workshops, as well as strengthening cooperation in the field of graduate studies through joint academic supervision and the participation of faculty members in thesis and dissertation examination committees.

The meeting also addressed the possibility of forming joint research teams to produce rigorous scientific studies that contribute to the field of physical education and sports sciences and support the development of scientific research in line with the requirements of higher education and academic quality standards.

Prof. Dr. Labib Zouyan Musaykh affirmed that the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Anbar University is committed to strengthening its academic ties with counterpart colleges at Iraqi universities, and working to build effective academic partnerships that contribute to the exchange of expertise and the development of educational and research programs, which will positively impact students and researchers and strengthen the college’s standing in the academic community.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Husam Al-Mumin praised the academic standing of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Anbar University, emphasizing the importance of strengthening academic and research cooperation between the two institutions to facilitate joint scientific activities that contribute to advancing higher education in sports in Iraq.
