On Sunday, April 19, 2026, the University of Anbar’s College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in collaboration with Al-Ma’arif University, began administering a joint exam as part of the academic twinning agreement between the two institutions, under the direct supervision of the college’s deanship and the joint academic committees of the relevant colleges.

This exam is part of efforts to strengthen academic integrity and unify academic standards between public and private universities, thereby contributing to the improvement of educational outcomes and the advancement of students’ academic proficiency, in line with modern higher education requirements.

The college witnessed comprehensive preparations at both the organizational and logistical levels, including the preparation of exam halls according to the highest standards and the provision of a suitable environment to ensure outstanding student performance, as well as the formation of academic and administrative committees to monitor the conduct of the exams with precision and high efficiency.

The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Labib Zouyan Musaykh, emphasized that:

“The joint exam is not merely an academic procedure; rather, it is a clear message that we are moving with confidence toward building an integrated educational system based on quality, fairness, and equal opportunities. Our partnership with Al-Ma’arif University represents a true model of academic integration, through which we aim to graduate students who possess the competence, knowledge, and ability to compete in various fields.”

He added that the college is continuing to foster a culture of academic cooperation and scientific openness by expanding twinning programs and knowledge exchange, thereby enhancing the quality of education and keeping pace with rapid developments in the academic field.
