Ph.D. Thesis Defense at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Anbar University
On the morning of Wednesday, June 3, 2026, the thesis defense for student (Abdul Hafiz Muhammad Abdul Karim) took place in the college’s seminar room.
The thesis is titled:
“The Effect of a Rehabilitation and Training Program on Shoulder Joint Function and 100-Meter Freestyle Performance for Swimmers with Soft Tissue Inflammation”
.

The thesis aimed to develop a rehabilitation and training program that contributes to the rehabilitation of the shoulder joint and improves the motor skills of swimmers suffering from soft tissue inflammation, as well as to identify the program’s impact on developing the joint’s functional capabilities and improving athletic performance among the study sample
The discussion session featured a scholarly dialogue addressing the study’s themes, methodology, and applied procedures, as well as a discussion of the researcher’s findings and their potential utility in the field of sports injury rehabilitation and the development of training and rehabilitation programs for swimmers.
This discussion is part of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Anbar’s commitment to supporting graduate studies and scientific research, and to encouraging rigorous research that contributes to addressing scientific and practical problems in various sports disciplines.
